Since entering the family business in August 1989, Rajnish Virmani has transformed a traditional trading firm into a beacon of technical excellence. Inheriting a legacy built on commodity chemicals, Rajnish anticipated the profound economic reforms of 1992, pivoting the company toward the high-stakes world of specialised industrial solutions.

Under his stewardship, Virmani Brothers Pvt. Ltd. evolved from general trading to becoming a critical partner in Catalysts, Adsorbents, Ion Exchange, and Membrane Filtration technologies.
His journey is a testament to the power of alignment. By forging early, strategic bonds with global titans like Engelhard, Rohm & Haas, and Sud Chemie, and later cementing partnerships with DuPont, Jacobi Carbons, and Veolia, Rajnish has bridged international innovation with Indian industrial grit. Today, his 37-year tenure serves as a blueprint for leadership: proving that with a clear vision, one can navigate shifting market dynamics to deliver the high-performance specialised solutions that drive the subcontinent’s most vital industries forward.
Harit Virmani is redefining India’s relationship with water. As one of only three Water Sommeliers in the country, Harit combines an artisan’s understanding of water composition with the technical rigour of a veteran technologist.
Throughout his career, Harit has represented the "best-of-the-best" in global water innovation, bringing the cutting-edge capabilities of Veolia, DuPont, Xylem, and Hydraloop to the Indian market. He specialises in high-complexity treatment scenarios that demand more than off-the-shelf solutions.
Driving the Decentralisation Movement:
Harit is a leading voice in the shift away from inefficient, centralised sewage infrastructure. He advocates for a decentralised future, where water is treated, recycled, and respected at the source. His mission is simple: to implement smart, circular water systems that empower communities and industries to become water-neutral.
